Day 01: Arrival Shimla + Shimla Local Trip

Upon your arrival at Shimla, check in to hotel. After breakfast, take some rest, afternoon proceed to local trip of Shimla and visit to Sankat Mochan Temple, Kali Bari Temple, Vice Regal Lodge, Scandal Point also visit to Christ Church and evening explore The Mall & The Ridge and overnight stay in Shimla hotel.

 

Day 02: Shimla – Kufri – Naldehra – Narkanda – Sarahan (170 Km) Travel time 6 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Shimla hotel and proceed to your Kinnaur Lahaul Spiti tour by drive to Sarahan en route visiting Kufri, Naldehra and Narkanda. Evening arrive at Sarahan – The village is known as the gateway of Kinnaur district. Sarahan is small picturesque village in Himachal Pradesh of India. It is the site of famous Bhimakali Temple, originally known as Bhima Devi Temple, dedicated to the mother goddess Bhimakali, presiding deity of the rulers of the former Bushahr State, check in to hotel, after refresh visit to famous Bheema Kali Temple Complex – In the same complex visit other temples such as Narsingh Shrine of Bhairon and Lord Raghunath. Bird Park, near the temple complex, it also houses of the state bird as Monaal which is a great attraction. Evening free for your own activities or explore Sarahan village and overnight stay at Sarahan hotel.

 

Day 03: Sarahan – Sangla/Raksham (95+20 Km) Travel Time 3/4 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Sarahan hotel and drive to Sangla / Raksham – Sangla is a city in the Baspa Valley, also referred to as the Sangla valley, in the Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh, India, close to the Tibetan border.  On arrival, check in to hotel, after refresh free for independent activities or explore Sangla local market and overnight stay at Sangla / Raksham hotel.

 

Day 04: Sangla – Chhitkul – Raksham – Sangla (35 Km) 

After leisurely breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Sangla and Chhitkul, drive to Chhitkul/Chitkul – Chitkul is a village in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is the last inhabited Indian village near the Indo-China border. The Indian road ends here. Later drive to Sangla en route visiting Raksham Village, Azad Kashmir (Located at across the River Baspa) and Fish Farm (Located at across the River Baspa).

On arrival at Sangla valley, you can explore Tibetan Wood Carving CentreBering Nag Temple, Kamru Fort, Sangla Meadow, Buddhist Monastery and also visit to Baspa River. In the evening explore local market of Sangla and night stay at Sangla / Raksham hotel.

 

Day 05: Sangla/Raksham – Reckong Peo – Kalpa (50 Km) Travel time 2 hours (Approx)

After leisurely breakfast check out from Sangla/Raksham hotel and drive to Kalpa – Kalpa is situated at a high altitude of 2759 meters from the sea level, on the old Hindustan-Tibet Road. Reckong Peo is district head quarter of Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Kalpa is located around 9 Km away from Reckong Peo. It is a border district of Himachal Pradesh. Kinnaur is also rich in flora & fauna. The culture and language is different from other parts of the state. Kinnaur is a tribal district of Himachal Pradesh. It is also famous for best quality of Apple’s.

On arrival at Kalpa, check in to hotel. After refresh free for your own activities or explore Kalpa village/local market and overnight stay at Kalpa hotel.

 

Day 06: Kalpa – Reckong Peo – Kalpa Sightseeing Tour (13 Km)

After leisurely breakfast full day excursion and visiting Kalpa Village, Kinner Kailash Mountain Peak, Bhaba Valley, Chandika Temple and various monasteries of Reckong Peo. Evening explore Reckong Peo local market and overnight stay at Kalpa hotel.

Reckongpeo town is a last place where foreign tourists can get Inner Line Permit to visit Spiti Valley.

 

Day 07: Kalpa/Reckong Peo – Puh – Khab – Sumdo – Yung Thang – Nako – Hurling – Tabo (145 Km) Travel time 7/8 hours (Approx)

After breakfast check out from Kalpa hotel and drive to Tabo en route visiting Nako Lake, Sumdo (International Indo – China Border Pass) and Hurling (International Indo – China Border Pass).

Evening arrive at Tabo, check in to hotel and after refresh visit to more than 1000 year old monastery of Tabo – Tabo Monastery is located in the Tabo village of Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh, northern India. The town surrounds a Buddhist monastery which, according to legend, is said to be over a thousand years old. The Dalai Lama has expressed his desire to retire to Tabo, since he maintains that the Tabo Monastery is one of the holiest. Later explore Tabo Village and overnight stay at Tabo hotel.

 

Day 08: Tabo – Kaza – Kee – Kibber – Kaza (70 Km) Travel time 3 hours (Approx)

After leisurely breakfast check out from Tabo hotel and drive to Kibber and upon at Kaza region visit to below famous tourist spots of Spiti valley:

Kee Monastery and Kee Gate – Kee Gompa is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located on top of a hill at an altitude of 4,166 meters (13,668 ft) above from sea level, close to the Spiti River, in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Lahaul and Spiti district. It is the biggest monastery of Spiti Valley and a religious training centre for Lamas. It reportedly had 100 monks in 1855.

Continue drive to Kibber (Highest motorable road of the world) and explore Kibber Village.

Later drive back to Kaza – The town of Kaza is the sub divisional headquarters of the remote Spiti Valley in the Lahaul and Spiti district of the state of Himachal Pradesh in the Western Himalayas of India.

The largest township in Lahaul Valley and Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Kaza boasts of high mountains with snowy crowns, crystal clear rivers, streams and barren splendor interspersed with patches of green. Kaza is known for its colorful festivals and the Sakya Tangyud Monastery. On arrival Kaza visit Sakya Tangyud Monastery, check in to hotel, after refresh explore Kaza town and local market and overnight stay at Kaza.

 

Day 09: Kaza – Losar – Kunzum Pass – Chandertal Lake – Rohtang Pass – Manali (185 Km) Travel time 9/10 hours (Approx)

After early breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Manali en route visiting Losar Village, Kunzum Pass, Chandertal Lake – Chandra Taal or Chandra Tal is situated in the Spiti part of the Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. The name of the lake originates from its crescent shape. It is situated at an altitude of about 4,300 Meters in the Himalayas.

Rohtang Pass – Located at a height of 3979 Meters. Rohtang Pass is on the highway to Keylong/Leh. In winters, the pass remains closed but is open from June to October for motor vehicles. This pass is a gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh Ladakh Valley. On the way also visit to Rani Nallah, Marhi, Rahala Fall and Gulaba Fall. Evening arrive at Manali and overnight stay at Manali hotel.

Day 10: Manali Local Sightseeing Tour 

After leisurely breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing tour of Manali town and visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Club House, Vashisht Temple & Sulphur hot spring), Tibetan Monastery and Van Vihar – Van Vihar is a famous picnic spot in Manali also famous for Indian movies shooting at Mall Road. Later free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Manali town at The Mall and overnight stay at Manali hotel.  

 

Day 11: Manali – Delhi (573 Km) 12/14 Hours journey – By A/C Volvo Coach

After leisurely breakfast, today is the end of your Kinnaur Lahaul Spiti tour package with the fabulous memories, check out from hotel and free for independent activities. Later at 4.30PM (Reporting time is 4.00PM at Volvo bus stand) travel from Manali to Delhi by A/C Volvo coach by overnight journey.

 

Day 12: Morning Arrival at Delhi 

Morning arrive at Delhi and proceed for further journey back to home or onward destination.
