Day 01: Delhi – Shimla (365 Km / 8-9 Hours journey)
Today, after breakfast, we will leave Delhi at 7:30AM and start journey to Shimla, on the way stop for lunch. Upon arrival at Shimla, check in to your pre-booked hotel in Shimla.
After refresh, go for Shimla local trip and visit Scandal Point, Vice Regal Lodge, Christ Church and The Mall & The Ridge.
In the evening free for shopping at Mall Road and Tibetan market. Later return back at hotel and overnight stay at Shimla hotel.
Day 02: Shimla – Kufri – Sarahan (170 km – 5/6 Hours journey)
After breakfast our nest destination will be Sarahan which famous for oldest Bhimakali Temple. Start drive and halt at Kufri for a hour to explore Indira Gandhi Tourist Bungalow and beautiful Kufri forest area.
Later continue drive and at Rampur have lunch, then moves to Sarahan.
Upon arrival at Sarahan, check in to hotel, after refresh visit beautiful Sarahan village surrounded by apple orchards and dominated by Shrikhand Mahadev Peak (5155M) which resembles the “SHIVLING”, is famous for Bhimakali temple where goddess idol is around 200 years old.
Also visit Bhimakali temple in the town, later return back to your hotel for overnight stay in Sarahan hotel/guest house.
Day 03: Sarahan – Sangla/Raksham/Chhitkul in the Kinnaur district (98 Km / 4 to 5 Hours journey)
Early in the morning get ready for your next destination as Sangla. Before leaving Sarahan visit again Bhimakali Temple in the morning and drive to Sangla with the mesmerizing view of River Satluj.
Afternoon reached at Sangla, have lunch here and continue drive to last village of India at Chhitkul (34 Km from Sangla), then return back to Sangla on the way back visit heritage village at Raksham.
Upon arrival at Sangla, check in to hotel and later explore local village and market and night stay at Sangla or Raksham near river side.
Day 04: Sangla – Nako in the Kinnaur district (125 km/5-6 Hours drive)
After breakfast start drive to Nako at altitude of 2950 Mtrs above from the sea level. Kinnaur, the legends of Kinnaur are replete with stories of Padmasambhava the great Buddhist teacher, also called the second Buddha. According to one legend, Padmasambhava in a demonstration of his Tantrik powers is said to have landed on a rock in the village of Nako.
Visit Buddhist Monastery established by Rinpoche Amitaya and also visit to Nako Lake and overnight in Guest House/camps.
Day 05: Nako – Tabo in the Spiti Valley (87 km / 3 to 4 Hours journey)
After morning breakfast, leave Nako and let’s start to your next destination at Tabo at an altitude of 3050 Meters above from the sea level.
Tabo is a beautiful village and famous for its 1000 years old Buddhist unassuming monastery said to have been established as a seat of learning by Padmasambhava, the profounder of Tantric Buddhism.
Upon arrival at Tabo, refresh and visit this very popular monastery in the centre of Tabo village and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 06: Tabo – Via Pin Valley (Wildlife Sanctuary) – Dhankar – Kaza in the Spiti district (103 km / 2 Hours drive)
After early breakfast drive to Kaza en route visiting Pin Valley in the South West of Spiti (You may visit here Pin Valley wildlife sanctuary). The Pin Valley has a pass connecting it with Kinnaur and from there by lower valleys with Kullu.
Later continue drive to Kaza en route visiting very famous the Dhankar Gompa. Upon reaching at Kaza, check in to hotel/Guest House night stay.
Day 07: Kaza – Kee – Kibber – Kaza (18 Km)
After early breakfast full day visit to Key monastery, Kibber (Drive at a highest motorable road of the world at an altitude of 4165 meters above from the sea level), visit Kibber village.
Later return to Kaza and visit to Kaza Monasteries. In the evening explore Kaza village and local market and overnight stay at Guest house/Hotel.
Day 08: Kaza – Losar – Kunzum Pass – Batal – Keylong (184 km / 7 to 8 Hours drive)
After breakfast start drive to Keylong en route visiting Losar Village (Check Post, have tea coffee here), again drive and visit en route Kunzum Pass at an altitude of 4551 Meters above from sea level, also visit on the way lofty Shigri Glacier is seen in all its grandeur.
Afternoon we will reach Batal, have lunch here and continue drive to Keylong.
In the evening reach Keylong – Keylong is the capital and district Head Quarter of Lahaul, at the banks of Bhaga River surrounded by snow covered peaks, Keylong is so situated that it gets maximum sunshine during winters and summers.
Check in to hotel and later explore Keylong village and overnight in Keylong hotel.
Day 09: Keylong – Trilokinath via Udaipur – Keylong (56 Km One way / 3 Hours drive)
After breakfast drive to Trilokinath 56 Km away from Keylong, upon arrival visit to famous Trilokinath Temple.
Afternoon drive toward Udaipur village and have lunch here and then drive back to Keylong.
In the evening free for your own activities or explore local market of Keylong and overnight stay at Keylong hotel.
Day 10: Monasteries visit of Keylong
After breakfast proceed to visit local Monasteries in and around of Keylong — Lahaul is well known for its Monasteries, locally called Gompa’s, which are great repositories of Buddhist faith and art treasures. These Monasteries (Gompas) are Kardang – 5 Km, Shasur – 4 Km, Guru Ghantal – 8 Km, Tayul – 6 Km and Gemur – 18 Km from Keylong.
Later return back to Keylong hotel for night halt.
Day 11: Keylong – Rohtang Pass – Manali (125km (5-6 hrs)
After morning breakfast, check out from Keylong hotel and drive to Manali at high altitude of 1920 meters, on the way enjoy amazing Rohtang Pass at height of 3990 Meters.
Manali is a picturesque little town and is the most popular place in Himachal Pradesh. It is typical small town bustling with activity during the summer season.
In the evening reached at Manali and overnight at Manali hotel.
Day 12: Manali Local City Tour including Naggar (24 Km)
After the delicious breakfast at hotel, get ready for full day local visit like Naggar, which is 24 Km from Manali town. Naggar was the capital of Kullu Rajas till A.D. 1660. The ancient castle, now converted into Tourist Bungalow, also visit Sir Nicholas Roerich art gallery and museum, the famous Russian painter and philosopher lived here and his quaint little house has been converted into a small museum.
Later drive back to Manali and visit to Jagatsukh Temple, Hadimba Temple, Himalayan Nyinmapa Buddhist Temple and Mall Road. Later return back to your hotel for night stay.
Day 13: Manali – Mandi – Rewalsar (150 Km / 4 to 5 Hours drive)
After breakfast, check out from hotel and start drive to Rewalsar via Mandi. Afternoon reach Mandi and post lunch at Mandi drive to Rewalsar and visit Rewalsar Buddhist monastery, Rewalsar Caves and Rewalsar Lake.
Later drive back to Mandi for night stay at hotel.
Day 14: Mandi – Bir Billing – Mc-Leodganj (Dharamshala) (1675m) 134 Km / 4 to 5 Hrs)
After early breakfast drive to Dharamshala (Mc-Leodganj) through the Kangra valley and en route visit to Monastery (Gompa) in Bir Billing (A majority of Tibetan Buddhists and monks live in the settlements near village Chauntra, near Bir Billing).
Bir Billing is also internationally famous destination for Paragliding, if you are interested, then you can enjoy Paragliding here.
Also visit to Baijnath Temple, Palampur Tea Estates and tea factory.
In the evening reached at Dharamshala, check in to hotel and overnight halt at Dharamshala hotel.
Day 15: Excursion in Mac Leodganj (Dharamshala)
After breakfast full day visit to Dharamshala and we will explore Norbulingka Institute, that sell Tibetan handicrafts and delicious Tibetan food and a major center for the studies of Tibetan culture.
Also drive toward Mac Leodganj and visit to Dalai Lama Temple, Monastery and his residence.
Later explore Tibetan local shop and you can buy here handicraft product, Tibetan Jewellery and many more.
Later come back to hotel and night stay at your Dharamshala hotel.
Day 16: Dharamshala – New Delhi (500 Km / 11/12 Hours drive)
After early breakfast, today your tour reached at end, start drive back Delhi, late night reach Delhi by late evening and proceed to your next destination.
